| 1980 | A-levels, Berlin |

| 1983 | while renovating my first apartment I grew to like home depot stores and working with different materials |
| 1985 | completed a degree in foreign-language studies in English and French |
| 1986 | first creative experiences as a self-employed designer for knitwear |
| 1987 - 2005 | found myself over and over again pottering about, sawing, making pottery, tinkering around, or painting |
| 2006 | A cable coming out of a wall finally triggered an explosion of my creative potential which had been laying idle for decades. Where other people are inclined to mount a light fixture, I clearly saw the rear end of a horse coming out of the wall. |

The first cable creature was born!
The aftermath of this explosion can still be seen today – the horse has not remained alone for long. Experimenting with materials, colors, and dimensions - it is within this process when my creations take shape. The structures are altered and reassembled into a new story – and there will be many more to follow.
Cables turn into animals – horses, dogs, cows, donkeys, cats, pigs, zebras, giraffes, lions, salamanders, geckos, chameleons. I use everyday objects such as acrylic and electrical wire caps to make them come alive and they immediately develop their own dynamics. Their playground and pasture is the canvas - in various sizes, a multitude of colorings and a variety of surfaces.
And no matter whether they are alone or in twos, in a herd or a pack, all cable creatures have this in common:
They go head-first through the wall!
